Passive GPS Vehicle Tracking Device
The TracKing® H5100 Passive GPS Vehicle Tracking Device, is a portable, compact unit with superior GPS reception. It is easily attatched to the exterior of any vehicle and records the vehicle?s position every second, within 2.5 meters? accuracy. Users can expect 80 hours of vehicle motion on just two AA batteries. Flash memory holds up to 100 hours of recorded data. Data is transferred by USB port to computer, with three viewing options. Text reports give detailed breakdowns of daily activities.
The software that is provided includes animated, digital street maps where the user may review all or portions of a trip. The path is clearly identified and color-coded to isolate various speeds. The path traveled and the stops can also be displayed on the popular Google Earth program. A powerful magnet allows rapid installation of the GPS TracKing®. The water-resistant housing makes outside mounting possible. When the vehicle is not in use, an on-board motion sensor puts the unit in ?sleep? mode to save battery power. Additional improvements in this model include a power switch, easy-access battery compartment and LED status lights.
